Our mission is to ensure all AEDs are ready for use when needed. Every second of delay can decrease the cardiac arrest victim's chance of survival!

Automated External Defibrillators or AEDs are emergency medical devices that can be used by any community responder but need to be visible, accessible, and available at all times.

In this session, we will discuss the opening an AED cabinet.

We have heard several times over the last couple months that potential respopnders are afraid to open the wall cabinets. Why?

  • We will discuss different kinds of AED cabinets.
  • We will discuss different kind of AED cabinet alarms.
  • We will discuss do cabinets call 911 automatically?
  • We will discuss what to do if the AED cabinet is alarming.
  • We will discuss if we should alarm the cabinets?

Airport Parking: The GPS address is 300 Rodgers Blvd to get you to the Honolulu Airport. Once at the airport, follow all signs for departures for Hawaiian Airlines, you will want to park in the Terminal 1 parking garage. Drive or take the elevator to the 7th floor and the conference center entrance is the furthest entrance from the runways (towards the mountains). Please note, you will be responsible for paying for parking. 
 
Kahului Airport- Aircraft Rescue Fire Station-this is a sterile area and you will need to be escorted and obey all airport regulations!

Lihue Airport- Aircraft Rescue Fire Station-this is a sterile area and you will need to be escorted and obey all airport regulations!
